Krystyna Piotrowska 

Born in Zabrze. She studied at the Interior Design Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1966-1972), at the Faculty of Graphic Art and Painting at the University of Fine Arts in Poznan (1972-1975). Grafikskolan Forum in Malmo (1985-1990).
She creates works combining photography, graphic techniques and painting. She also makes installations and video art. Her pieces are mainly concentrated on the notions of identity and memory.
Since 2006 she has been appointed curator of ‘Vain’ Project in Warsaw.
