Krzysztof Skórczewski
Born in 1947 in Cracow.
From 1965 to 1971 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow where he received the diploma. He participated in various competitions and exhibitions of students’ graphic art. 30 linocuts have been created since 1976 as well as pieces of functional graphic art. While studying at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm in 1976 he made attempts in copper-etching. He has produced 200 copperplates until the present day. Since 2004 he has also created series of pastel and water-color paintings. In the 40-year-long artistic work time he has participated in over 100 group exhibitions and plenty of individual ones as well as charity auctions.
